Bad Experience!

It was such a great day indeed until something happened when we were on our way back to Singapore. Specifically, Woodlands Checkpoint. I was so pissed off so badly and intended to literally blog about it. So here I am, blogging about how hurtful I was.

It all started like this..
You know when nature calls you, you try your best to tolerate with it because you are in the car and there isn't any nearest toilet anywhere? That was how I felt just now. I was trying my best to refrain from urinating at inappropriate places (you know I know) so yeah. Since I tried to control for the past hour, I could not take it anymore so I told my mum that I really need to go urgently. The traffic was so bad at Woodlands checkpoint so mum and I decided to bring our passport along and walk to the place where the police(?) had to chop or scan our passport. One of the so-called officer stopped us so we told him that I really need to go to the ladies urgently and guess what? He took his own sweet time to serve the people in the car, scanning their passports first. He also called someone to assist us to the ladies. My mum got so angry and told him off. Oh gosh, what if he is in my place, would he be piss off or not? Just so angry about it. In the end, he scanned our passport and let us go. Then we walked all the way straight and saw another officer which was a lady. She stopped us and asked where we were heading to. So my mum repeated the same story to this lady. Guess what? She acted so blur and took her own sweet time to give us directions. Like, the heck. Can't they just give us a good service?

We just walked straight and saw the ladies sign in Block A but guess what? It was locked. So we needed to walk so far to Block B to go to the next nearest ladies. Oh gosh, why does this happen to me in this such timing? We walked and walked and we found one like AT LAST.

The thing is, I was pissed off on how the service that the officers were given to us. They were treating us as if we were suspicious people. We did not even bring anything except for our phones and passports with us. How could they treat us like that? Another thing is how hard to find the toilets at the checkpoints. Hais. Just really pissed off. Really. Seriously bro. Next time, give us a better service or you could speak to us politely right. Thank you very much.

1st Syawal 2014

I am supposed to be in Singapore right now, enjoying myself eating kuih raya and "jalan raya-ing" with family (is there even a meaning for that word?) but yet, I am already stuck in Malaysia.

This year's raya theme for my family is songket (malay traditional clothes). Simple yet sweet to look at. This is how it looks like.
This year, I need to pin a big brooch at the back for ALL OF MY RAYA OUTFITS. I do not know why but somehow the tailor made it so big for me. Even for the skirts as well. Oh why oh why. Unfortunate raya for me I guess.
The complete family candid picture :) Well, everyone is here on 1st Syawal Alhamdulillah. It has been 3 years I guess because some of them are in overseas and busy working. That is why finally we have a complete family photo.
This year's raya would not be awesome if you do not have a family selfie. Well, selfie is pretty much the trend for this year. So why not take a selfie? At first, I thought all of them would not want to take a selfie. Once I shouted "selfie!", everyone smiled. Such a supporting family I have.
This is the kakak-kakak (old sisters) and abang-abang (old brothers). We used to be so small and now here we are. So tall and becoming more prettier and handsome :P jkjk~
Last but not least, this is my own beautiful family photo. For us, formal family photo is so mainstream so this is what we did for this year's raya photo. The 3 ladies in the family. I bet everyone would wonder "where's the father?".

Guess what? This is only the 1st Syawal.

Finally, I am 18!

04/06/14 - the day I have turned 18. The same day as the prom night.
Unexpected, isn't it? This short, crybaby girl has turned 18.

It was midnight. The date has just changed from 03/06/14 to 04/06/14. The day that I have been waiting for . The weirdest moment was when my sister did not even wish me happy birthday. Every time when it is my birthday, she is always the second one that wishes me after my mum but this time, she did not. I was so sad. Out of sudden, she asked me to go up. I went up with her then I saw a "Sephora" bag. I was so shocked and surprised! I did not expect that. She bought me this.

My dream came true. She bought me a makeup palette for Mama's behalf. Thank you sister and mama for buying this and I know it is expensive but I promise you this, I will use it :)

The prom started at 7pm sharp but unfortunately, I came 30 minutes late due to the traffic jam. When I arrived to the venue which was at Empire Hotel, I saw my prom date, standing there. Suddenly, he gave me a box and asked me to open it. So I opened and I saw a bracelet. He wore it for me. He wished me happy birthday. Thank you, could not ask for more!

When I was eating my dinner, the MC suddenly said " My friend here, wanted to say something to someone. " The MC handed over the mic to my friend. My friend announced that that day was my birthday in front of everyone. I was so surprised. I did not know what to do during that time. Speechless. Then, one of my girlfriends grabbed me and brought me in the middle of the hall. There was a cake and everyone in the hall sang a birthday song for me. I was so touched as no one ever did that in my life. That was my first. Thank you.

Some of the Prom pics :)

That was how I celebrated my 18th birthday. Although it sounded simple, but I really enjoyed every single minute on my birthday. I felt like I was a princess on that day. I was treated so special. I just knew that everyone knew about that surprise expect for me. They planned 2 weeks ahead. Anyway, the surprise that all of you made, was amazing. I feel so much love in this school but sadly, I have graduated from that school.

To the people that tweet me, fb me, and commented on my instagram, thank you for all the birthday wishes and prayers. I really appreciate it so much! Even though it was just a simple wish, it really means a lot to me. Thank you :)

To those who made this happened, thank you for the surprise! All of you are the ones that make all of this. I did not expect you to do this. It felt like a fairytale. My first prom + 18th birthday :) Thank you.

Express Everything Out?

Have you ever heard of Poetry Slam? Poetry Slam is basically a competition where people perform their awesome poems. In my school, we had it for the second time which was at 12.30pm just now. Although I am not really fancy with poetry, it was fascinating to see people expressed their emotions through poems that they have created. To see them doing that, it makes me ponder.

What do I always do when it comes to expressing my thoughts and feelings? I am not good at poetry. I am not good at creating my own songs either. The only thing that I always do is to cry and write a blog.

Why do I even cry most of the time? Does crying even help me to solve the problems that I have? These questions actually come across in my mind. I always wonder why did I even cry in the first place. I guess this is the only way that I can really express everything out. Thinking about studies, future, family problems and peer problems are just so much to handle all at once.

I am just a weird girl that cries easily. It is true. My mum once said to me that I was a strong girl when I was small. I did not even cry. I guess, when I am growing older year by year, I tend to cry a lot even if it is just a small matter. Some people say it is good as you do not have to hold back any tears in your heart and just let it all out. The others think that it is bad because people tends to call you a 'crybaby'.

Another way to express everything out is by writing a diary or doing a blog. It is so me.True fact about me: I tend to write diary journals every night. Sometimes, it is a waste of time by doing it every single time. I just love to do that because when I read it all over again, I will laugh, cry, and happy when reminds me of the memories that I have done in this school.

2 weeks left in this school.....and I will be graduating from this school. The school that have made me who I am right now. Not only the school but the friends that I have, teachers, the canteen people, hostel master and A. Just not ready......to leave everything and go to the "outside" world where I will meet a lot of people, get a lot of perspectives..... Good luck.
